To serve as Financial Analyst (Costing) in the company’s Finance Department who will primarily provide strong financial support to the core departments (mainly Production, Quality and Engineering) on business decisions in day-to-day activitites. As an value added contribution towards the management, this position will helps to drive scenario based analysis during the budgeting/LRP processes. Will lead in the End to end inventory accounting and reporting process for the organization to operates more effectively and efficiently.
Secondary, to support coordination on all Financial Planning & Reporting activities.
Key accountabilities are to:
Ensure accurate analysis for budget/forecast to support the management for business decision making and upholding an ethical conduct with regards to financial data, processes and reporting and compliance with applicable GAAP, laws and regulations.
Strive to make things easier and to make progress on Continous Improvement within Finance scope.
Develop an intimate understanding of the business to provide value- added financial analyses to site Leadership Team/management, and facilitate decision-making that will support the attainment of site financial targets.
Lead and participate in the development of the annual operating plan/forecasts and liaise as appropriate with other Finance/site colleagues to prepare the site submission to PGS Finance.
Be a proactive finance representative on the VST.
Be the SAP Costing SME to support all product costing activities, as well as the maintenance and optimization of the ERP system.
Provide strong participation and maintain good rapport with production on end-to-end inventory activities
Coordinate the standard cost development cycle.
Support the Finance Manager on all internal and external financial reporting activities (monthly, quarterly and yearly) by possessing independent thinking with excellent organizational & analystical skills in:
Perform good financial analysis on key B/S & P/L items, highlighting opportunities & challenges. Recommend corrective actions as necessary.
Timely submission of corporate reportings to NY HQ
Ensure timely & reconciliation of Sales revenue recognition
Submission of external reportings (e.g. Auditors request/EDB/adhoc surveys)
Any adhoc matters in liaising with other sites/cross departments in order to resolve or propose process improvements.
Provide financial support in areas of spending, particularly in depreciation projection during budgeting & forecasting.
Diligent follow up and support on intercompany allocation IN/OUT charges to ensure accuracy
Prepare management reports and slides (e.g. financial review meeting
Complete adhoc financial analyses as warranted by the business, such as capital expenditure evaluations bid analyses, and cost savings evaluations.
Ensure strong internal control practices within Finance as well as in operational areas.
